Mazda Essential Car Care Program for Educators
Mazda Gives Back Again to Educators
Mazda continues to give back to communities it serves with programs to help some of the most essential workers. After the success of the Essential Car Care Program for those in healthcare, Mazda now opens a program for educators for free oil changes.
The Essential Car Care Program is offering standard oil changes for free to teachers and coaches as well as other school staff around the country at participating dealers, of which Bob Moore Mazda is one.
This program will run through September 30th and includes most makes and models. The goal of the program, according to the President of Mazda North American Operations, is to help educators who have been working through the pandemic and are dealing with the new school year.
As part of the oil change, the service technicians will provide cleaning of the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Some dealerships may offer other extensions of the program, such as free vehicle pickup and return.
Mazda has continued to offer support to communities during the pandemic, from the Essential Car Care Program for healthcare workers to Mazda Heroes. Now the new program for educators helps more of those people who need it the most and have been continuing to work during the pandemic, even if virtually.
The Essential Car Care Program for healthcare workers provided free oil changes and other features for those who were at the frontlines during the pandemic. Mazda Heroes was another program that gave back to the community heroes by awarding 50 people with a Mazda MX-5 Miata 100th Anniversary Special Edition.
Mazda’s North American operations are headquartered in Irvine, California. There are nearly 800 dealers around the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Bob Moore Mazda is the local Oklahoma City, Edmond, and Norman Mazda dealer.

The importance of Oil Changes
Regular oil changes protect the engine from additional wear and tear. It’s critical to have your oil changed on a regular basis. Just follow the manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure your vehicle continues to provide reliable service.
The oil is the lifeblood of your engine as it keeps all the moving components lubricated and running smoothly. The oil filter also keeps out the debris and road grime that can cause your engine to malfunction. As the oil gets dirty and the filter becomes clogged, your engine must work harder and put forth more effort to keep the vehicle running.
Regular oil changes protect your vehicle and help maintain the resale value for when you’re ready to trade it in on a newer model. Let Bob Moore Mazda help you care for your vehicle and reward all the educators in the Oklahoma City area school system with a free oil change. Stop in today or give us a call to schedule your next oil change.
