The All-New 2023 Mazda CX-50 Coming to Bob Moore Mazda
Get ready off-road enthusiast, the all-new 2023 Mazda CX-50 has been designed with you in mind. This crossover SUV is larger, wider, and more rugged than ever. The 2023 Mazda CX-50 represents a noteworthy expansion in focus for the brand. Bob Moore Mazda is happy to share this new SUV with you, so if you are in Oklahoma City, Norman, Edmond, or any of the surrounding areas, start your adventure with us.
Superb Engine Packages
The 2023 Mazda CX-50 will start out with two engine options. The base model will be equipped with Mazda’s familiar 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine in either naturally aspirated or turbocharged form, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and standard “i-Activ” all-wheel drive. The capabilities of the naturally aspirated engine will be similar to that of the Mazda CX-5, with 187 horsepower and 186 pound-foot of torque. The turbocharged engine will churn out a whopping 227 horsepower and 310 pound-foot of torque. Mazda says electrified versions of the CX-50, including a traditional hybrid model, will be added in the coming years.
Fabulous Features
The 2023 CX-50 will be more off-road friendly with features like black plastic cladding around the wheel wells and front and rear bumpers. And unlike other AWD Mazda’s, the CX-50’s Mazda Intelligent Drive Select driver-selectable drive-mode system will offer an off-road mode and towing mode. Also new to Mazda is a panoramic sunroof, designed to help bring the outside in. To maintain the outdoor/active lifestyle of the adventurous drivers, the CX-50 comes with wide opening doors, a relatively low roofline, and a roof rack to make it easier for storing and reaching gear.
Signature Exterior
The CX-50’s exterior styling blends Mazda’s signature design elements with the expected rugged-outdoors touches. From the blackout trim with wheel-arch and lower-body cladding, a slightly raised ride height with all-terrain tires, and a matte-black hood graphic with cutout ‘CX-50” lettering. Even the new color options for the CX-50 are new for Mazda. You can choose an interesting taupe-toned exterior called Zircon Sand, with a Terracotta interior. It’s a bit of a change from the usual cool, metallic hues.
This fabulous SUV is slated to go on sale in Spring 2022, and it’s the first Mazda vehicle to be built at the joint-venture Mazda Toyota Manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama. Let the professional sales team at Bob Moore Mazda show you more about the 2023 Mazda CX-50!
