Luxurious Interior Features
On the inside, the CX-90 offers drivers and passengers a genuinely luxurious and spacious ride. Depending on the trim level, drivers and their co-pilot will have a touchscreen infotainment system, either 10.25 or 12.3 inches. This screen will be Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatible and allow for wireless connection in higher trim levels of the CX-90. Directly in front of drivers is a meter display showing controls such as odometer information, a trip computer, and driver assist messages. The meter displays will vary in size depending on a trim level, with 7” and 12.3” options available.
The CX-90 comes standard with three rows of seating but offers variations in seating arrangements. These three rows can fit up to eight passengers comfortably or provide captain seats for the middle row passengers, allowing for a center walk-through area to the third row.
Interior styling comes standard with leather seats and two options of color variations, Black Napa Leather or White Napa Leather. If you’re looking for the highest quality interior, the 3.3 Turbo S Premium offers a Tan Nappa Quilted Leather and the Premium White Nappa Leather.
Engine & Performance: What to Expect from the Mazda CX-90
Under the hood, the Mazda CX-90 packs a turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine producing either 280 or 340 horsepower, depending on trim level. The CX-90 comes standard with AWD, offering drivers driving modes such as Sport, Off-road, and Towing. With a towing capacity of 5,000 in some trim levels, the CX-90 can easily tow a boat or a camper out to the lake.
Mazda is introducing the CX-90 as a PHEV option outside fuel power engines. This Plug-in Hybrid powertrain will only increase the impressive 24/28 mpg (City/Highway) of the CX-90.
Mazda CX-90 Driver-Assist & Safety Features
With safety top of mind for drivers, Mazda has equipped the CX-90 with a full suite of driver-assist features, Mazda’s i-Activesense. Standard driver assist features in the Mazda CX-90 include Automated emergency braking, Blind-spot monitoring, and Adaptive cruise control. The CX-90 will also feature the Rear Seat Alert, helping you avoid leaving occupants or objects behind when leaving your vehicle.
