2026 Mazda CX-70

2026 Mazda CX-70 for Sale in Oklahoma City | Bob Moore Mazda
Looking for a mid-size SUV without the third row? Find it in the 2026 CX-70, for sale at Bob Moore Mazda. The CX-70 is based on the same platform as the three-row CX-90, and all it does is delete the third row. That means you’ll find the same three powertrain options aboard the CX-70, with two turbocharged inline-six options and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) with plenty of all-electric driving range. The CX-70 is an excellent choice for drivers who need a bit more cargo space than the everyday compact SUV can provide, but who might not need that extra third row for passengers. As the CX-70 enters its sophomore year, Mazda hasn’t done too much to change the formula, opting to make premium amenities available on more trim levels. Premium models now get a tow mode though, increasing capacity to 5,000 lbs. We’ll preview everything you need to know about the new Mazda CX-70, from the cargo space to the latest features. 2026 CX-70 Fuel Efficiency and Charge Range
Since the CX-70 shares a platform with the CX-90, the powertrains remain the same. Base models feature a 3.3-liter turbocharged inline-six that produces 280 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. For an extra kick of power, Mazda tweaks the same engine to generate 340 horses and 369 lb-ft of torque, making it a bit more engaging for daily driving. Both powertrains use a 48-volt mild hybrid electric system, which you shouldn’t notice. You will notice the electric system in the CX-70 PHEV, which combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor to make 323 horsepower. The motor pulls power from a 17.8-kWh battery pack, which delivers 26 miles of daily driving range. The battery will charge from 20 to 80 percent in about 90 minutes when connected to a 240-volt charger. Expect to get 23 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the open road from the base CX-70 and 24 and 27, respectively, from the PHEV. Want to see what the CX-70 can do for yourself?
