2025 CX-90 Powertrain and Performance
The CX-90 has a 3.3-liter inline-six, complemented by a 48-volt hybrid system. The I-6 will get you 280 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque in standard trim levels, while S trims get 340 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. An inline-six is the same sort of engine the BMW X5 and the Range Rover Sport are equipped with, showcasing Mazda’s luxury feel, while still at a fraction of the price of the more premium brands. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with standard all-wheel drive across the lineup. At its best, the CX-90 can tow up to 5,000 lbs, great for most mid-size cargo. 2025 Mazda CX-90 Interior and Trim Levels
The CX-90 offers a well spaced interior, with 15.9 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk, expanding to 40.1 cubic feet when the rear row is folded and 75.2 cubic feet when both rows are folded. Seating configurations vary, with the option to put two, three-person rows behind the first row, or to put captain’s chairs in the second row, reducing capacity to 7.
